The Bull at Boone's Trace is an 18 Hole golf course that roams through the bluegrass atop a bluff overlooking the Kentucky River. The Bull accomodates goflers of all abilites with 5 teeing locations. Houston Oaks is located 15 minutes from downtown Lexington on scenic and historic Route 27/68 in Paris, Kentucky. Opened in May of 1997, the course offers superior golf for all levels of play. Four tees on each hole vary the course from 4200 yards to 6900 yards with the layout design incorporating both links and wooded styles. Lush bermuda fairways and bentgrass greens are surrounded by Kentucky bluegrass rough. Lafayette was awarded the # 2 ranking in Golf Digests Best in State rankings for 2005-2006 in the state of Kentucky. Lafayette was recently named 4-star best courses to play 2006-2007 by Golf Digest. Bright Leaf has an 18 hole golf course, fairly open with water coming into play on six holes, also a 9 hole regulation course is very tight with water on seven holes. Bright Leaf is an excellent value - an upscale course with Country Club amenities but always open to the public. Bright Leaf also has a fully stocked pro-shop with the latest in golf equipment.
Opened in 1979, Ben Wirey - Architect, Eagles Nest C.C. is one of the most challenging and scenic golf courses in our region. Winding through the wooded hills of Central Pulaski Co., Eagles Nest offers a Breath taking setting for a most memorable round of golf. Out of town guest are welcome anytime. County residents may play once a month with a member.
